Noise your world is a project I’m working on for some time. The idea is to give depth to static photos, especially those with an interesting point of view. The depth is perceived by the viewer through the introduction of 3D noise: what at first glance may seem like a normal photo, suddenly becomes a distorted representation of reality. The use of shadows enhances the realism of the total composition. It is developed in Unity3D, still in its early stages, but the basic idea lends itself to many interesting applications: realtime audioreactive compositions, photorealistic renderings of deformed photos, realtime VJ tool.
