Development of 3 interactive installations inside the museum
FICO is a training ground for a sensorial and educational experience about food and its biodiversity. Inside this huge park, there are 6 walk-through and interactive multimedia carousels dedicated to the extraordinary story of Man and Fire, Earth, Sea, Animals, Bottled Goods, and Future.
I developed in collaboration with Clonwerk SRL two interactive installations for FI.C.O. They are
two interactive multimedia carousels dedicated to the Man relationship with Sea and Bottled Goods.
Man and Sea
The entire territory of Italy is projected on a circular table. There are three rudders at the same distance one each other around this table. As soon as a guest turn the rudder, a boat appear in the Italy's seas: now the guest starts to control the boat direction using the rudder and is free to explore them. Each rudder has a little monitor in front of itself, which displays info about the navigation and the type of fish caught on a specific Sea.
Man and the Bottle
This impressive installation represents a millstone. On both sides of the mill you can watch a movie on three monitors. Dragging the arms of the mill clockwise, the visitor will discover the work of harvesting, processing, and bottling oil, beer and wine.
