Projection mapping in one of the room inside Mercati di Traiano Museum in Rome
The aim of the installation is to show the soldiers, before and after the battle. Their stories have been preserved up to the present day, thanks to the epitaphs engraved on the tombstones. Some of them are famous warriors, and thanks to this installation the visitor is led to reflect on their life, and what it meant to be a warrior in the times of Trajan.

The start concept was to perform a projection mapping directly on the headstones. For this pupose, a brief photogrammetry session was performed, just to preview projection mapping potential. After that, it was decided to use a simpler tecqnique and to focus on video content creation.
